1401 New York Ave will be Pioneer’s latest re-skin in Washington, DC. Pioneer has partnered with both Fox Architects and James G Davis Construction starting with Design Assist through Final Installation. The existing 12 story building will receive approximately 43,000 sf. of Pioneer’s performance shop glazed curtain wall. The project will have approximately 12,000 sf. of aluminum composite panel at the penthouse, soffits and walls. The main entrance and canopy is approximately 900 sf. of point supported glass. The lower level also includes aluminum louvers. The project is already underway with Pioneer’s Design Assist Team and is scheduled to start in the field in early 2015.
