Director of Safety
As the Director of Safety at Pioneer, Jeff leads company-wide safety initiatives, establishing and enforcing safety policies and processes to ensure a secure work environment. This role champions employee engagement in health and safety practices by providing ongoing training and education. Responsible for hazard prevention, Jeff ensures compliance with government regulations, investigates incidents to identify root causes, and implements improvements to mitigate future risks. Jeff is a seasoned Safety Professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health and has earned three prestigious certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals: Construction Safety and Health Technician (CHST), Safety Management Specialist (SMS), and Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT).
A former paratrooper with the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, Jeff is also a musician and songwriter who enjoys traveling in his free time. He has been married for over 30 years and has two children. Jeff and his wife are eagerly looking forward to welcoming grandchildren in the future.
